Observed provider
Connect an exit address to the residential proxy network seen using it.
Consumer-network attribution
Residential proxies route a customer’s traffic through an address assigned to a household or consumer device. The ASN can look ordinary, so a hosting-provider check alone will not identify the connection. Synthient uses direct observations and provider research to recognize the proxy relationship without treating every residential subscriber as suspicious.
The detection gap
Consumer IPs are shared, reassigned, and frequently hidden behind carrier or household NAT. A durable denylist goes stale quickly and can block the person who receives an address after the proxy session ends. Detection must include observation time and the specific provider evidence behind the classification.
Connect an exit address to the residential proxy network seen using it.
Apply a recency window that matches the sensitivity of the action being protected.
Review verified SDK, reseller, application, and operator relationships where Synthient research supports them.
Keep ASN, ISP, country, and prior classifications beside the proxy observation.
Implementation
Use a recent residential-proxy match to step up verification for high-value signups, promotion claims, account recovery, and payment changes. Keep lower-risk browsing available, and record the provider and observation time in the event so analysts can reproduce the decision later.

Questions
They use addresses assigned to consumer networks, so ASN or hosting classifications often resemble legitimate household traffic. Fresh behavioral and provider observations are needed.
The appropriate window depends on the action and evidence. Use the returned last-seen time and shorten the window for dynamic consumer addresses or irreversible enforcement.
