Synthient Version 4

Synthient version 4 brings one of the largest updates to the platform so far. This release aims to improve developer experience, stability, and overall data quality.

Analyst, Developer, and Organization Experience

As we build out Synthient for the future, we are slowly recognizing just how important user experience is. We want analysts and developers to quickly understand valuable information about an IP and pull it into any system.

When we design that experience for analysts, we look to platforms such as OpenCTI as the gold standard. The residential proxy space, especially, is a network of complex relationships, and we want to build a platform that gives customers those insights.

For developers, we want a similar experience, but more focused on saving time. LLMs are great, and we firmly believe in building out tooling for developers and agents. We launched a Synthient CLI that exposes an MCP and several useful commands, allowing users to pull data from anywhere with a single command.

Similarly, we want organizations to have confidence in the platform we are building and in its security and reliability. To do this, we’ve launched over 8 new features, enabling organizations to audit everything from access logs to API key design.

Datafeed Expansion

With this release, we are working to expose more data to customers so they can fully leverage it offline. Enterprise customers now have access to torrent, TLS, and Signal data. We plan to release several more datasets over the coming months to enable clients to bring as much data as possible into their platforms.

Helios

One of the arguably most pressing issues in residential proxy/DDoS detection is separating real users from fake ones. While static lists work, they have a number of shortcomings, ranging from attribution to confidence. We are tackling this with a first-of-the-kind system called “Helios,” limited to enterprise organizations. We expect this to fundamentally change how detections are thought about and improve attribution in an already challenging space.

FoxIO x Synthient Collaboration

We are partnering with FoxIO, the creators of JA4+, to build a patent-pending dataset that enables organizations to infer additional characteristics about residential proxies. We believe this will be the future of static IP reputation blocklists. Further details are available to enterprise organizations upon request.

Webscout x Synthient Collaboration

In addition to working with FoxIO we are partnering with Webscout to build out more ambitious collections. Behind the scenes we are doing some truly incredible research to push both our platforms forward and improve coverage for our clients.

Looking Forward

We’re deeply grateful to our dedicated team, early beta testers, and community members whose feedback and support brought Version 4 to life. As we look ahead, we’re excited to share even more features, partnerships, and novel approaches to advance threat detection. This is only the start for what we have planned this year.
